Google I/O Set For May 15-17, 2013

The Google Developers team has announced that the 2013 Google I/O developers’ conference will be held from May 15-17, 2013 in Moscone Center West in San Francisco, Calif. As in 2012, Google will provide streaming and organize events for developers around the world who can’t attend in person.

Google has not announced when tickets will go on sale. “We’ll announce registration details in February 2013,” the Google+ post says. It’s usually a mad dash to get tickets, so we recommend following Google Developers on Google+ as well as the hashtag #io13 if you want to be on top of things.

The Google I/O website still shows info from the 2012 event, but it’s a good way to get a sense of whether you’d be interested in attending. There tend to be some surprises, like Sergey Brin introducing Project Glass glasses with a unique skydiving stunt:
