The Apple Watch Series 10 is here.
There have been nine official series of Apple Watch so far, producing 13 models in total, with the various Ultra and SE models included. In typical Apple fashion, the Apple Watch X was unveiled at a fall event.
Apple Watch Series 10 release date
On Monday, September 9, Apple launched the Apple Watch Series 10 at their Glowtime event. It is available to pre-order today with shipping expected to begin on September 20.
The new model comes with a wide-angle OLED display which is bigger than the Apple Watch Ultra. The Apple Watch Series 10 is “the thinnest Apple Watch yet”, the company says. It aims to offer enhanced comfort and introduces new features such as sleep apnea notifications, faster charging, water depth and temperature sensors, along with improved health and fitness insights powered by watchOS 11.
The Series 10 comes in both aluminum and titanium, with a range of colors and finishes.

Arguably the most important changes with the Series 10 are to the display. It now offers what Apple calls “the largest and most advanced display” when compared to other models in the series.
The new display screen has more room for users to play around in, there’s 30 percent more active screen area than Series 4-6 and nine percent more than Series 7-9. What this means in practical terms is wearers will get enhanced readability and be able to view more text in apps like Messages or Mail. It should also be easier to do fiddly tasks such as pausing an app during a workout or entering a long passcode.
