PlayStation’s major release calendar for September through December

tl;dr

  • 2024's biggest PlayStation titles, including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred, launch this fall.
  • October highlights include BioWare's Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic X Shadow Generations, and Silent Hill 2 on PS5.
  • November and December bring Assassin's Creed Shadows, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake, and Marvel Rivals on PS5.

Video gaming’s launch calendar is hitting prime time, the stretch between fall and Christmas when PlayStation, as well as other platform holders and major third-party publishers roll out 2024’s biggest and longest-awaited titles.

The PlayStation 5 is a mainstay of third-party gaming, even if some of those third parties are now owned by Microsoft. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred’s story expansion will both launch on PS5 in October, with BioWare’s Dragon Age: The Veilguard arriving at the end of that month.

Be sure to check out the rest of ReadWrite’s gaming release calendars for PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. And if you just want to see what everyone’s launching for the coming month of September, that schedule is right here.

All PlayStation 4 games are playable on PlayStation 5. Games that are PS5 only are marked (PS5).
