In a past life (a couple of weeks ago), we used to report on the previous months Tizen apps that had been downloaded from the Tizen Apps Store. Now, we have a list of the Top 20 Tizen Apps / Games for the whole of 2017. This will be our last round-up of the Tizen Store and I’m doing this more out of nostalgia than anything else.
Most Popular Tizen Apps in 2017
There was one app that never shifted from Pole position from the time it was released on the Tizen Store and that is WhatsApp. This was probably the most high profile Messenger app released for Tizen and definitely the most popular. Imo was a highly requested app, but was released far later in the year and doesn’t quite have the following that WhatsApp has. The are pretty much the usual suspects with Facebook, Facebook Messenger, HERE Maps, Hotstar, Calendar, Opera Mini web browser, My Jio, Hancom Office Viewer and finally imo free video calls and chat.

Most Popular Tizen Games in 2017
In the early days of the Tizen Store, users wanted Temple Run to be available to download asap. Daily we would get requests for this game. After that, the requests started flooding in for Temple Run 2 and it is fitting that this was the #1 downloaded game from the Store of 2017. The rest of the top 10 were not big titles by any means but I’m sure the readers enjoyed them. Position 2 we have Danger Dash and from then Ludo, Sweet Candy Fever, Ludo, Subway Hamster Run, Bubble Shooter Star, Grand Gangstar crime auto 3D, Railway Run, Asphalt 8 Airborne and finally Teen Patti.
