Jalen Rose is face of new Fanatics Sportsbook NCAA tournament campaign

The former basketball player Jalen Rose has partnered up with Fanatics Sportsbook to lead a new NCAA tournament campaign.

The Fab-5 Legend can be seen in videos posted on social media, all of which have the hashtag ‘embracethechaos.’

“It’s officially March and the only way to survive the chaos of the tourney is to embrace it. We’ve got more than 5 Million ideas to help you do just that…” the bio states on the campaign video on YouTube.

The promotion centers around a $5M FanCash drop by Fanatics Sportsbook for people who place a $20 parlay on college basketball.

According to the campaign and regardless of the outcome, those involved will receive a share of the FanCash. This can then be redeemed for collectibles, merchandise and other rewards from Fanatics.

The company is running a sweepstakes contest too where people can win a trip to the national title game in Texas by showing their parlay slips via social media.

Fanatics Sportsbook runs a NCAA Tournament campaign

The tournament, known as ‘March Madness’, will officially begin this Tuesday (March 18) with the ‘First Four’. This comes after Selection Sunday took place on March 16.

Alabama State and Saint Francis will go head-to-head to kick off the competition, followed by San Diego State vs North Carolina.

A day later, on Wednesday, the American University will face Mount St. Mary’s followed by Texas vs Xavier.

Once those two days are completed, it’ll move on to the First Round before progressing to eventually finding the overall winner which will be decided out of 68 teams.

This campaign also comes at a time when Fanatics Sportsbook has embarked on expanding its markets. Last year, in March, the company launched in three states within seven days which marked the continuation of its aggressive expansion.

The company is now operational in 21 states, with Wyoming being the latest which was secured at the end of May 2024.
