FanDuel launches first-ever multi-round parlay feature for March Madness bets

FanDuel has given its sportsbook an upgrade for March Madness, adding some new features for bettors.

One of the biggest changes is a revamped parlay option that lets bettors mix and match picks across multiple rounds of the NCAA tournament into a single parlay.

This means punters can now bet on one team making it to the quarterfinals and another team winning the whole thing, all on the same parlay slip. It is expected to bring more flexibility and bigger potential payouts.

FanDuel said it’s making history with this upgrade, claiming it’s the first sportsbook to ever offer this kind of parlay feature for March Madness. In a statement, the company said: “This marks the first time customers can build parlays that include bets from multiple rounds of the tournament, allowing customers to transform their brackets into bets.”

FanDuel’s new Bet Back Token also lets customers recover their wager in Bonus Bets if a bet isn’t going well or if, due to a bad parlay leg, an injury, or a big deficit.

This token will be available for use on any college basketball game from March 17 onward.

Karol Corcoran, FanDuel Sportsbook’s SVP and General Manager, said: “The March tournaments offer a full month of high stakes college basketball, and while fans’ brackets may be busted after a round or two of tournament games, their bets no longer have to be with the Bet Back Token.

“Combined with our unique multi-round parlay feature, this year we are offering our customers unparalleled flexibility, reinforcing FanDuel’s position as the best sportsbook to bet their bracket.”

What is March Madness?

March Madness pools are a huge part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) tournament, with millions of brackets filled out every year.

According to new projections from the American Gaming Association (AGA), Americans are expected to wager around $3.1 billion on the men’s and women’s tournaments this year, up from $2.7 billion in 2024.
