Google’s speech services on Nokia N9, as simple as select a new keyboard and now speech-to-text sms, voice dialing and voice search is available to N9: QVIK (Quick Voice Input Keyboard) supports every Google speech-services language, even if it has been tested only for English, Spanish, Italian, French and Deutsch,. Other releases will come to add capitalization, symbols, T9 and a simple, but complete, touch keyboard. Toolbars aren’t yet supported, to send a msg the enter key, placed to the right of space key, should be used.
Usage:
- Select the QuickVoice keyboard by a swype or by Settings->Language->Keyboard
- Hold down the microphone icon and speak
- Release the icon and wait
