A lot of app developers seem to be benefiting from the recent outburst in Blockchain technolog, more specifically in the cryptocurrency domain. While some developers are building cryptocurrency wallets, hedge funds, etc other developers are making apps which display the real-time value of the cryptocurrencies so users can decide on when to invest or trade their assets. But in recent times, there have been so many new cryptocoins emerging that it is getting harder and harder for people to keep a tab on their volatile values.
But if you happen to have a smartwatch such as the Gear S2, Gear S3 or Gear Sport, then there exists a solution for your problems, as a matter of fact, there are a number of solutions. We have covered a good number of such cryptocurrency value displaying smartwatch apps in the past. And today, we are here to cover some more! A developer going by the name Sergey Zhdanov came into popularity in the Galaxy Apps store for Gear Smartwatches with his cryptocurrency App called Bitcoin Widget. This app was one of a kind among all the other crypto apps existing in the store as it displayed the real-time value of Bitcoins in multiple currencies and more importantly, it had the capability to display the Bitcoin market price from different cryptocurrency platforms (bitfinex, bitstamp, coinbase, binance, blockchain.info).
Now, the developer is back with four more smartwatch apps for other popular cryptocurrencies- Ripple Widget, Ethereum Widget, Dogecoin Widget and Litecoin Widget.
Unlike the Bitcoin Widget app, the developer didn’t bring the feature of displaying market price from different platforms to these apps sadly. However, they still have the feature to display the rates in a huge number of currencies such as AUD, BRL, CAD, CHF, CLP, CNY, CZK, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, HUF, IDR, ILS, INR, JPY, KRW, MXN, MYR, NOK, NZD, PHP, PLN, RUB, SEK, SGD, THB, TRY, TWD and ZAR. All the rates are fetched from CoinMarketCap API and are updated once every minute.
These aren’t free apps just to keep you informed, as they are all priced at about a Dollar each. The apps don’t take up much space at all as they are just under 1 MB. We will keep you updated on more such cryptocurrency apps when we spot them.
