Microsoft sent out invitations to a “Surface 2.0” event in New York Cityon September 23, at which it’s expected to unveil next-generation versions of its Surface Pro and its flatlining Surface RT tablets. The products appear likely to be renamed the Surface 2 Pro and the Surface 2, respectively.
Microsoft will also reportedly unveil new Surface accessories, including a docking station and a “power keyboard” featuring its own batteries that can prolong battery life of the Surface itself.
