Best mods for Satisfactory 1.0

Satisfactory has been around for more than five years in Early Access and moddable for many of those. Recently the move to version 1.0 on Steam broke all of that and for the month since launch mods have been a broken mess, keeping many players on the last version of the Early Access build.

Now though, everything has been fixed up. The mod manager has been updated and we are good to go with mods in Satisfactory once more while enjoying all the great new features that 1.0 brings with it.

Here are a few must-have mods for your game that will add new features and quality of life to your alien factory-building hobby. All of these mods will work with version 1.0. Be careful using other mods however as not all have, or probably will, get updated.

Best mods for Satisfactory

Structural Solutions (Michael Skinner)

Ever feel as though there aren’t enough different parts in Satisfactory to let you build what you want? Structural Solutions comes to your aid then, adding more than 300 new buildable items to the game, split into three categories – Frames, concrete, and beams. This might not sound much but within those categories lie an awful lot of possibilities.

Instant Craft Bench (Aquila Industrial)

Sometimes you just have to use the craft bench to make items quickly or top up an amount you need. There is nothing worse than just sitting there waiting for the game to chop up iron bars into 2,000 screws. Instant Craft Bench solves that by giving super fast crafting and little waiting around. It may seem like a little immersion breaker but your time is precious people.

Another Counter (Moidu21)

Not all mods have to be useful, some just have to be informative. Ever wondered just how many resources are passing through something? Another Counter will, well, well count them all as they pass by giving you an idea of just how product you are being. Your Ficsit overlords would be so proud.

Packing FicZip (Aquila Industrial)

As you get further and further into your game inventory management becomes a real pain. What do you want to do with those 5 million rolls of wire from the early game? Sure you could feed them into the AWESOME Sink, but you know then you will need a load of wire soon after.

The packing machine allows you to cut down on used inventory space by packing items together. It’s almost invaluable. Download it right now.

Shop for HD and Power Shards

Fed up with the endless slog of roaming the land looking for crashed hard drives and power slug? Imagine if you could purchase them instead from the shop for just a few coupons at a time. Now you can. This is a cheat really but if you absolutely cannot wait to get all your machines overclocked it could be for you.

Other mods

There are literally thousands of other mods that can drop into your game. Remember though, until recently mods didn’t work with version 1.0 so it’s probably safer to air on the side of caution and not through in hundreds into your game.
