We are a big fan of (useful) interactive maps here at Readwrite Gaming. We often scour the internet to find the best resources for games so that you don’t have to. Today today is no different as we look at a map for one of the best games right now, Satisfactory.
Now having been in Early Access for five years people have had time to develop excellent tools for the game before it arrived a couple of weeks back as it’s version 1.0. The release version brought so much new stuff to it, but the Satisfactory Calculator site has been quick to get everything up to speed so let’s have a look at the best website out there if you are playing, or thinking of playing Satisfactory.
Best interactive map for Satisfactory
We aren’t even going to go into listing a few options for you here because the map at SC is so great it is literally all you need, and it also has a feature we have never seen on any interactive map before, but more of that later.
The option exists in the menu bar to switch between the current version 1.0 stable branch of Satisfactory or the last version of the Early Access (version 8), in case you have not upgraded yet.
It is an easily traversable handy resource of locations of resources and hard drives and anything you may still be trying to find on your planet.
Your own map
When you load the map up you will see a section on the top right of the screen that allows you to drag and drop your own actual Satisfactory save game from the folder on your PC to the site and it will build the map for your own game, showing you how you have everything (badly) laid out. It even tells you how long you have been playing and the current state of what you have located so you can tick them off.
It’s a hugely impressive feature.
The site itself is not just an interactive map but also boasts production and power planners, calculators, blueprints, and workbench mods – if you have only just started playing you won’t even know half of this stuff existed. Definitely check it out and you won’t need another Satisfactory resource again.
