The Q900FN features real 8K resolution and is able to reach a 4,000 nit peak brightness (which is a standard that is employed by many Hollywood studios). This feature allows the TV to produce four times more pixels than a 4K UHD TV and 16 times more pixels than a full HD TV.

The Q900FN features new functions. For example, Ambient Mode has been made to blend the TV in with space around it. One Invisible Connection, which is a 5-meter cable (but is also available in 15 meters), is a cable that incorporates the optical cable and power into one thin cord. This helps to give users freedom where they want to place their TV.
Samsung will be showcasing this new TV and audio announcements in their booth at IFA that is in the City Cube, Berlin on Level 2.
