GENIVI Alliance join W3C to speed up HTML5 API

 
GENIVI Alliance has announced yesterday that it has joined W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) to aid in W3C’s Automotive and Web Platforms Business Groups. GENIVI Alliance aim to speed up API definitions for the API of HTML5 web applications adopting this to aid in-car entertainment. The alliance means an improvisation to the IVI interfaces and quality of In-car systems and entertainments. Auto HTML5 API is critical if innovative user experiences are to be created such as cloud integration.
