Samsung-sponsored Tizen Mobile App Incentive program is still ongoing with each app on the top 100 assured of $10,000 each. The program will run until October 2017 but right now, the winners for April 2017 has just been announced. If you don’t know, the program is open to all developers and already, the statistics for May 2017 is already being collated. So, that means there is still 5 months left before the program comes to an end.
Popular messaging app Whatsapp still sits atop the list for yet another month while Facebook app continues to occupy the number 4 position. The list is mostly dominated by gaming apps and quite honestly, it is not all a routine affair. There are some noticeable newbies on the list that were not on the Top 100 for March 2017. Apps/games like Ludo, Construction Simulator 2017, bitMusic, Bus Simulator 2017, Ladies Suit Designs and others were not on the list for March. That means if you’ve got a great app for Tizen devices in the works, you too can just get lucky by entering the program.
Even if you’re yet to get started, it’s not too late. All you need do is to download the TIZEN SDK & Tools and get busy. Just make sure the game/app is compatible with existing Tizen Smartphones, such as the Samsung Z1, Z2, Z3, and the recently launched Samsung Z4.
