SDC 2016 could see some major announcements around IoT and Smart Home!

The countdown to Samsung Developer Conference 2016 to be held at Moscone, San Francisco from 27th to 28th of this month has officially begin. The event will see some of the major innovations that could propel into actual products or services in the future. Samsung’s interest in VR, IoT and Smart Home has been reaching great heights for some time now and at SDC 2016, developers from around the world are expected to attend the conference to gain insights on these tech from Samsung and its partners and Sasmsung even have a few workshops arranged for devs on day zero.
Samsung-SmartThings-Open-Cloud-ARTIK-Chip-Tizen-2IoT being one of the hot topics for the event, Samsung will be bringing in its partners to have major discussions and speeches abut the tech. SmartThings, Samsung’s susidiary brand for home and consumer based IoT services will also be taking to stage to showcase technologies for its IoT platform. Samsung’s open source ARTIK development boards is expected to gain some spotlight at the event and familiarize devs into prototyping their IoT based projects on the ARTIK boards. With all this huge data from IoT based apllications that has to move over cloud, managing them efficiently is a challenge that Samsung’s data exchange platform, SAMI will be discussing about at the conference.
