The Gear 360 2017 deviates from its predecessor in the design it features. It now comes with a new streamlined design that makes it lighter in weight and compact in size. The panoramic camera still runs on Samsung’s Tizen OS and specs wise, it features dual 8.4-megapixel CMOS sensors with a f/2.2 aperture and fish-eye lens on either side. The main highlight of the new Samsung 360° camera is its ability to record at 4K resolution (4096×2048) at 24 FPS and H.265 encoding for the first time.
