Tizen on Samsung Galaxy SII HD – Gallery, Live Call and Video

At the recent Tizen Developer Conference in San Francisco Jong-Deok Choi (also known as “JD”) spoke as part of the Keynote speech. There were a couple of moments that JD did a live show of Tizen running on a device and I’ve been informed that the device was in fact a Samsung Galaxy SII HD.
The applications used are in HTML5 and the power of the OS can be harnessed by existing hardware. Gallery picture scrolling is very smooth and the media cube can be seen manipulating video.
Also the first live on Camera call was placed 🙂
