Hey Devs, are you ready to put your developer Samsung Gear S2 skills to the test? There have been several developer contests regarding Tizen devices over the years and now I happy to say a new contest has started in the Ukraine. You get to develop S2 apps and submit them to Samsung Galaxy Apps and win prizes.
The S2 was released in Ukraine earlier this month with the Gear S2 being sold for 7,999 hryvnia and the Gear S2 Classic for 8,999 hryvnia.
There are three high-tech prize bundles on offer if you win, as detailed below:
Prizes
- 1st Place – Samsung Tab S2 + S6 + Gear S2
- 2nd Place – Samsung S6 + Gear S2
- 3rd Place – Samsung Gear S2
What you have to do
There are 3 things that you you need to complete in order for you to stand a chance of winning the prizes as previously outlined:
- Install Tizen SDK with extension from here
- Develop your App using JS / HTML5 / CSS or C / C ++
- Upload to Samsung Galaxy Apps
The competion is open now and runs from 10 December 2015 to 24 February 2016. Please note that the competition is held in Ukraine and winners will be announced on March 1, 2016.
