As Marvel Rivals enters Season 1, alongside new heroes to learn in the Fantastic Four, there are more missions to complete as you play.
Akin to Season 0’s Entangled Moments, Season 1 has its own ‘event’ containing a few missions and rewards, completely free of charge.
Here, we’ll take a closer look at the Marvel Rivals Midnight Features season event, showcasing what the missions are and the goodies on offer for finishing them.
All missions and rewards in Marvel Rivals Midnight Features season event
As previously mentioned, this new season event follows a similar pattern to that of Entangled Moments with missions gradually being released over time via ‘Investigations’.
Missions begin on January 10, 2025 — the start of Season 1 — and end on February 7, giving you almost a full month to make it through everything.
We do know all of the page one rewards since you’ll need to complete a full set of missions for each of them.
Taking a look at the first page of missions — which are the only ones currently available — there are three in total with a couple of different avenues to go down with the latter two:
Who Needs Damage Control?
- Task: Trigger Recursive Destruction three times in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown
- Rewards: 100x Chrono Tokens
Everybody Hates Reed
- Task: Defeat five enemies with Brainiac Bounce as Mister Fantastic OR Launch 10 enemies with Force Physics as Invisible Woman
- Reward: Scientific Stretch Spray
If You Can Make It Here…
- Task: Win two matches in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown OR win five matches in Quick Match, Competitive, or Practice vs. AI
- Reward: 60 Units
Here are the following Investigation release dates and times for the next sets of missions:
- Investigation 2: January 11 at 1 AM PST
- Investigation 3: January 13 at 1 AM PST
- Investigation 4: January 15 at 1 AM PST
- Investigation 5: January 17 at 1 AM PST
Now looking at the meatier rewards for completing each page of the Midnight Features ‘newspaper’, there are four Gallery Cards to pick up as well as a Thor Costume.

- Thor Reborn from Ragnarok Costume
As you’d expect, the Thor Costume is the final reward for finishing everything that’s on offer in the event, so you’ll need to do some grinding to secure the free skin.
