Although Apple has been busy with the continued rollout of AI Apple Intelligence features, the company isn’t slowing down as it teases a week of new Mac announcements.
Greg Joswiak, Apple’s SVP of Marketing, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share the news about the week ahead.

Joswiak didn’t give any further insights, nor did he reply to any of the 300 commenters, with the upcoming news being closely guarded.
This update comes in line with how the company usually rolls out its news, with two big product drops during the fall months.
Typically, they announce iPhone and Apple Watch newness at an event in September and then there’s another product event in October which touches on anything Mac or iPad-related.
Last year, the technology giant shared its M3 chips and the computers that would use them during its ‘Scary Fast’ launch event on Halloween.
This year though, it isn’t known whether an event will take place or if the news will be unveiled in another way.
It was back at the beginning of October when Bloomberg Chief Correspondent Mark Gurman suggested that Apple was eyeing November 1 as the date for its “next product release, with more devices following in early 2025.”
Gurman said he expected Apple to announce the following products at the end of October, followed by some being released on Friday, November 1:
- Low-end 14-inch MacBook Pro with M4 chip (code-named J604).
- High-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M4 chips (J614 and J616).
- Revamped Mac mini in M4 and M4 Pro chip configurations (J773).
- Refreshed iMac with an M4 chip (J623).
- Refreshed iPad mini (J410).
Gurman’s predictions haven’t been confirmed by Apple, nor have they publicly stated what will be in the week of announcements, but the release of M4 models is widely rumored.
