Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you will know that BetMGM is one of the leading forces in sports betting and iGaming, bringing some innovative tech both to the palm of your hand and in-person casinos.
Now, as of March 4, the company has launched its first-ever online casino commercial featuring award-winning actor and company brand ambassador Jamie Foxx.
The highly anticipated 30-second ad, titled “Vegas Lights,” brings an immersive look into the intertwined connection between BetMGM’s online platform and the classic Las Vegas experience.
The commercial follows Foxx as he moves through some of MGM Resorts’ most famous properties, including Bellagio, ARIA Resort & Casino, and MGM Grand.
Each tap on the BetMGM mobile app seemingly brings Vegas to life, showcasing the casino’s blend of online gaming and real-world rewards such as resort stays and exclusive show tickets.
The ad was developed in collaboration with BetMGM’s creative agency Highdive and directed by renowned filmmaking duo The Malloys, with cinematography by Jeff Cronenweth.
Reflecting on his involvement in the project, Foxx praised the campaign by suggesting that BetMGM is “a phenomenal company to work with” and he “[loved] the way the spot turned out.”
Casey Hurbis, Chief Marketing Officer at BetMGM, emphasized the brand’s commitment to delivering a distinctive gaming experience. “Jamie Foxx is an extraordinary talent and a pivotal part of how we bring BetMGM to life. This ad perfectly highlights BetMGM’s unique ability to merge the digital and physical casino experience.”
Mark Gross, Co-Founder and Co-Chief Creative Officer at Highdive, furthered Hubris’ comments by stating “No one lights up Vegas like BetMGM and Jamie Foxx.” and the ad “brings to life the magic of playing online while still being connected to the heart of the Vegas experience.”
The new campaign will be broadcast across BetMGM Casino’s operating markets, including Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ontario.
With this commercial, BetMGM continues to solidify its position as a leader in the online casino space, blending star power, innovation, and the thrill of Las Vegas into one seamless experience.
