Metaphor: ReFantazio is finally here, and one thing is for sure, if you are a big fan of Atlus’ Persona series of games, you already know that a large portion of your life is about to be taken over by this game.
With crazily high review scores already, Metaphor: ReFantazio is going to be a contender for Game of the Year in many quarters so you are pretty much guaranteed that any time you spend in its clutches is going to be time well spent.
It’s always good to know though how long a game is going to last so you can prep appropriately – make sure you have enough food in to last, and warn your significant others how long you may be missing in action so they don’t call the police, and so on.
How long to complete Metaphor ReFantazio?
It always seems like a bit of a “how long is a piece of string?” question because largely, as you would expect, it is going to be entirely down to what you do in the game so take the following only as an indicator of the actual time it may take to play the game and see all the main content.
If you are off running about doing side-missions and following every sub-plot in Metaphor: ReFantazio intensely you can expect to potentially double it. And do you want to be rushing to play through a full-price game anyway? We would always suggest slowing down and enjoying the content on offer so you don’t miss anything. Other than trying to gain some fake internet clout for finishing first, is there really a point?
In terms of content though we think you are probably looking at between 90-100 hours of gameplay here if you stick to Normal difficulty and cover a lot of the extra content in order to see most of what the JRPG
You could probably knock about 20 or so hours off if you just decide to race through the game, but something this good deserves to be savored, and that is what we suggest you do.
