Games Global has been recognised as a ‘Trusted Partner’ by major German operator Tipico.
This is a significant endorsement for the online gaming content supplier as part of Tipico’s newly launched quality initiative focused on regulated market alignment.
The initiative, unveiled by Tipico earlier this month, was created in response to concerns over unlicensed gambling operators getting around Germany’s regulatory framework.
Its purpose is to champion providers who commit exclusively to the legal, regulated sector, with Games Global is among the first to receive the certification.
As part of the collaboration, Games Global’s catalogue which spans more than 1,400 titles and developed over the past 20 years, will become available to Tipico players.
The supplier’s content will also feature in Tipico’s omnichannel marketing, a benefit reserved strictly for its certified ‘Trusted Partners’.
The partnership is underpinned by a shared focus on responsible gambling and the elimination of black-market operators, according to both parties.
“Games Global remains steadfast in its mission to promote transparency and player protection, and we are honoured to be named a ‘Trusted Partner’ by Tipico’s quality initiative,” said Joann Pierce, Chief Commercial Officer at Games Global.
“We are wholly aligned with Tipico’s goal of prioritising accountability in the German market, and this collaboration further emphasises our drive to build an ethical and sustainable environment.”
Christian Heins, Tipico’s Director of iGaming, echoed that sentiment, adding: “Tipico founded this initiative to champion those that support the regulated market. Games Global has showcased its desire to place consumer protection at the forefront of its German commercial strategy, and we are happy to add the supplier to a growing list of companies aligned on this mutual objective.”
This development follows Games Global’s recent expansion into Latin America, including tailored product rollouts in Brazil and Peru.
Its recognition in Germany is another notch on the company’s commitment to compliance belt as global iGaming markets continue to mature and become more closely monitored.
For Tipico, the aforementioned initiative is not only a tool for consumer protection but also a signal to the industry that responsible operators and suppliers will be rewarded with visibility and commercial opportunities.
With the German market continuing to evolve post-regulation, partnerships like this are becoming a blueprint for how operators and providers can work together to uphold integrity and ensure long-term success.
