Fitbit Coach and Microsoft HoloLens present mixed reality workout sessions.

American Wearable technology Company, Fitbit has announced that it will soon integrate it’s fitness trackers and smartwatches to Microsoft range devices. The California based makers of activity trackers and wearable technology devices that measure heart rate, quality of sleep and other fitness related markers wants to push its Fitbit coach app beyond mobile devices.
This means that Fitbit Coach will now be assessable not only on smartphone devices or Fitbit Ionic but on Microsoft HoloLens, Windows 10 and Xbox One consoles.
If you want to avoid the stress of going to the gym or you prefer working out in the privacy of your home, you can now follow guided workouts, video routines,  and other personalised fitness programmes from your home. All you have to do is to download the Fitbit Coach personalized training app which is available in Microsoft Store. You can download for Windows 10, Microsoft HoloLens and Xbox. You will have to subscribe to Fitbit Coach Premium subscription ($39.99 per year) to unlock additional programs and features as well as unlimited workouts.
Users of the Microsoft HoloLens can now experience real-time work out without wearing a Fitbit tracker or smartwatch. The HoloLens will display your heart rate data as you work out, or you can even set up live-heart- rate-tracking feature if you are already using a Fitbit device and the Fitbit Coach app. This way Fitbit can help measure how much calories you burn. The Fitbit Coach would also give you pointers on how to execute the exercises correctly. The HoloLens uses Windows 10 technology and it blends holograms into the real environment. This would make the Fitbit coach app feature that allows you choose from outdoor or treadmill sessions that can be very interesting as you can stay in your living room and have the sensation of being on a treadmill.
