Today, Unity Technologies have announced the winners of the Tizen App Challenge. The app challenge had a total prize fund of $185,000, which included a $3000 early bird prize that was available for each of the first fifty entries. The top three downloaded games at the time of 21st November 2016 will be awarded with a Prize money of $20,000, $10,000 and $5,000 respectively. The challenge was held between 18th August to 21st November 2016.
Games submitted for this challenge had to be built with the Unity Engine, submitted to the Tizen Store, and compatible with the latest Tizen smartphone, the Samsung Z2. Game developers with games on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store could participate in the challenge as long as they have a minimum of 10,000 downloads for that particular game.
