After seeing today’s “Facebook is as Big as the Internet of 2004” story, and the graph of internet users beginning in 1995, I began to think back to my own early days on the web. I asked a few people around me if they were on the web in 1995, and the stories started pouring out. Some were, using AOL, a few using college resources instead, but most weren’t. That made me wonder how many ReadWriteWeb readers were dialing up 16 long years ago.
