In the wake of several companies admitting to uploading iPhone address book data without permission, Dan Frommer wonders if Apple should consider another go at social. While Ping wasn’t the success Apple hoped, Frommer suggests Apple may still be smart to return to the drawing board and create full featured social network for iOS users.
