Nokia's CTO Rich Green to Leave

It is reported that Rich Green, Nokias Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be leaving Nokia. It is believed that he is currently on “Gardening” leave until the end of the year but unlikely to return. Issues faced by Rich Green where differences between him and Stephen Elop over the MeeGo Operating System. Rich would have preferred to utilise it as planned where as Mr. Elop chose Windows Phone 7 as their primary smartphone operating system with MeeGo being labelled as a “Future Disruptive Technology”.
