Yesterday, we reported on an issue that WhatsApp users were facing with the app displaying “This version of WhatsApp has expired, please got to the App Store to update it”. The problem occurred when the Tizen Store would not let users update it. We also posted a little workaround for it to keep you going.
Today the Tizen store has got a new update for you to download, version 2.16.3, and there are no reported problems in updating at the moment. This version is mainly bug fixes and performance Improvements.
WhatsApp is considered a must-have app and was one of the big name apps to first make their way to the Tizen ecosystem. The update is for all Tizen smartphones, which includes the Samsung Z1, Z3, and the recently released Z2.
