If you’re strapping a Gear S2 or a Gear S3 on your wrist for your next vacation or just visiting a new place, then make sure that you install the Guides by Lonely Planet app which has just made way into tthe Tizen smartwatches (previously available only on iOS and Android). The app behaves like a virtual guide and provides information about the places you visit and also recommends the best places to visit nearby to your location.
While the smartphone version of the app has features such as currency calculator, ‘near me’ functionality, essential tips and must-see sights, the smartwatch version is more lightweight on the feature set and provides only with the essential information that you’d appreciate with just a glance at your wrist.
