Tizen smartphones certainly saw a fair few apps being released during 2016 and so far this year we have seen some real momentum in the Tizen Store with regards to new apps and games. So without further here is the monthly round-up of the most popular Tizen apps available in the Tizen Store from the previous month, in this case, January 2017.
The usual culprits are still in the top 20: WhatsApp Messenger, SHAREit, Facebook, MX Player, Hotstar, UC Browser for Tizen, Temple Run 2, MyJio, Opera Mini web browser, Xender, UC Mini Browser and HERE Maps. These apps have formed some of the core must have apps in the store, with WhatsApp not shifting from it’s number one position since it was released in the store.
A much-requested app, PhotoFunia, has crept into position 18. We have also seen the addition of Police Traffic Racing and Rail-Create Train Track. The Tizen Store still remains a good place for native and web app developers to list their apps so they can actually be found, opposed to Android or iOS, where there is practically no chance unless you’re a massive app in the first place.
