November 2016 has come and gone and now its time to have a look at the most downloaded apps from the Tizen Store during that period. Currently, the devices we have are the Samsung Z1, Z2, and Z3 smartphones in several markets.
As usual, the number one downloaded app from the Tizen Store is still WhatsApp Messenger, a popular messaging platform. We have a new second place, that has dislodged Temple Run 2 to fourth place, Hotstar which is a Live TV video streaming service. Next up are the usual favourites like Facebook, MX Player, UC Browser for Tizen, and Xender.
We have a new game entry at number 9, Chhota Bheem Jungle Run, a popular game in India that is based on the character Chhota bheem. My Jio, listed as a productivity suite, was first launched as a bundle on the Samsung Z2 and is sitting at number 11. A new entry for a Top 20 position is UC Mini Browser even though this app originally launched in May of this year.
Creeping its way onto the Top 20 Board is JioCinema which allows you to watch premium Indian movies, TV shows and music videos. The Tizen Store is keeping quite busy with games / apps for the Tizen platform. A recent boost to the ecosystem has been the launch of the world’s first 4G Tizen smartphone, the Samsung Z2, which has helped drive more apps to the Tizen Store.
