The top 100 apps and winners for the month of June are out. Late last year, Samsung introduced the Tizen Mobile App Incentive Program. In this program, developers whose apps are among the top 100 apps for each month while the program last will take home $10,000 each. The program will run until October 2017 but right now, the winners for June 2017 have just been announced.
So far, three apps (Whatsapp, SHAREit and Faceebook) have been pretty consistent having held on to the top 5 spot for April and May. Notable inclusions for the month of June are Townsmen and Love Photo Frame while Camera Equaliser and Being SalMan: The Official Game dropped out. The list is mostly dominated by gaming apps but some good mobile banking and social apps are coming up. We still got three months to go on this program so it’s not too late for you to get started.
To get started, download the TIZEN SDK & Tools and join the Tizen Store seller office from where you will get instructions on how to register. Make sure that your game/app is compatible with existing Tizen Smartphones.
