All Tizen Mobiles receive Tizen Store and Theme Store updates to version 1.7.3 / 1.7.4

Today, the Tizen Store received an update for the Samsung Z1, Z2, Z3 and Z4 mobile devices, taking it to version 1.7.3. The Tizen Store User Interface (UI) has some cosmetic changes following the update. Other changes include the Theme Store have been updated for the Z2, Z3 & Z4 but not the Z1, probably as it doesn’t have the Theme Store.
The Samsung Z1, Z2 and Z3 smartphones Tizen Store is now more like the one found in the Tizen 3.0 based Samsung Z4. Talking about the Z4 version, that has been updated to 1.7.4 version but it seems this mainly just bug fixes with no UI changes.

The changes on Tizen Store for Samsung Z1, Samsung Z2 & Samsung Z3:

  • There were previously 6 tabs on the home screen: Categories, Featured, Top Free, New Free, Top Paid, New Paid. But, now more easy as 5 tabs: Categories, Featured, Popular, Top Grossing, New. That means paid and free altogether.
  • In Every Category, there were 4 tabs: Top Free, New Free, Top Paid, New Paid. But, now same as home screen paid and free altogether in 3 tabs: Popular, Top Grossing, New.
  • The interesting thing is the Tizen Store icon is now changed like Tizen 3.0 Tizen Store Icon.
  • Search seller name to show his/her all apps

How to check update:
Most users will get an update after they open the Tizen store and wait just 5 seconds, otherwise users have to Open Tizen Store , press the left hand soft key. select settings, scroll down to version number. You should get asked to update. After update please check your version is updated or not. Version 1.7.3 is for Samsung Z1, Samsung Z2 & Samsung Z3 and 1.7.4 for Samsung Z4.
