Initially when the Gear S3 was announced we were told that Spotify would be releasing its own dedicated music app for the smartwatch. This would enable users to stream music over either 4G cellular data or Wi-Fi whilst connected to a pair of Bluetooth headphones. You will also be able to save playlists for offline use.
Unfortunately the Gear S3 is now on sale in many markets but the official Spotify client remains unavailable, much to the disappointment to many users that might have purchased this wearable tech for that specific use.
Well, it appears that it’s not all doom and gloom at the moment as Samsung has confirmed on Facebook that the Spotify app is “expected to be available in mid-December.”
