All Tizen phones have only one antivirus security app which is made by Intel named McAfee Security. Kaspersky Lab, who has been a long time Tizen partner, announced their security solution for Tizen based IoT devices; but this is not a solution for smartphones.
Today, an app developer Gagandeep Singh, has added a new antivirus security app named G Antivirus to the Tizen Store. As the name suggests the security app will scan your files for any potential virus.
According to the developer, “it will protect your phone against malware, viruses and other nasty stuff from the downloaded files and the Internet.” It will scan the new files which you download or transfer from another phone and will essentially keep your phone more secure and Intruder free. You can also view your phone’s System Info including Memory, RAM and Battery.
If you want to secure your data and also keep it from becoming compromised or corrupted then G Antivirus is a solution that promises to work deep within your smartphone.
This app is available for all Tizen-powered smartphones such as Z1, Z2 & Z3 and free of cost and available in Tizen Store for a download of 2 MB.
