Ever heard of Magbee? If you haven’t that’s understandable, there’s not much going on around it at the moment. We’ve heard of Google Home or Amazon Echo and now Samsung‘s joining this list of smart speakers soon with their very own smart speaker that has been stated to be called ‘Magbee‘ by trademark applications that Samsung filled in the US and also in Europe. Also confirmed by serial leaker Ice Universe.
We only know very little about the new speaker at the moment, but it safe to say it will be powered by Bixby and Harman may have some involvement in Magbee. Something else we know about the smart speaker is that it will have a dial and is expected to have wireless audio, likely for multiple speakers firing all at the same time.
Samsung may also make the Magbee speaker official with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on the August 9th Unpacked Event but for now, we don’t know just yet.
