[Updated] Samsung Z Smartphone Spotted in the Samsung Remote Test Lab (RTL). Could release in India?

UPDATE: It seems that the Samsung Z will not be available on the Samsung Remote Test Lab (RTL) or available in India. The device appeared online due to some configuration changes in the India servers.

The Samsung Z, model number SM-Z910F, was the original Tizen Smartphone that was due to be released in the summer of last year. It was shown off at the Tizen Developer Conference 2014 in San Francisco, with the launch to come in the coming months. The stage was set for the Z to launch at the Tizen Developer Summit 2014 in Moscow, but was cancelled at the last second.

Now, the Samsung Z has been spotted on the Samsung Remote Test Lab (RTL), which consists of real devices that are plugged into servers in order for developers to remotely upload and test their applications. Interestingly enough the Samsung Z is plugged into the Indian server, which suggests that Samsung could be releasing this smartphone to the Indian market or in mass quantities to developers.
The Z was a Tizen flagship device of 2014, but with a 2015 release date it will be seen as more of a mid-range smartphone. The device list on the RTL has OS 2.2.1, but will launch with Tizen 2.4 at this stage. We were looking at the Samsung Z3 being released in India soon, so the Introduction of the Z gives consumers more choice of Tizen devices to purchase. The Z has far superior hardware than the Z3 with Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, Hall, RGB ambient light, Finger print, and Heart rate sensors all built in. Native Samsung apps such as S-Health and Gear Manager have already been developed for this smartphone, so that Instantly gives it mass Samsung user appeal.
