The launch of Monster Hunter Wilds is on the horizon but before we get into the full experience, Capcom has released another Beta.
This gives you a chance to get accustomed to the new mechanics of Wilds and feel what it’s like to roam around the world.
If you’re looking to get into the Monster Hunter Wilds Beta 2, we’ll be taking a look at how to get access and what dates it’s running for below.
What are the Monster Hunter Wilds Beta 2 test dates?
If you missed out on the initial Beta or are just looking for more game time before Wilds launches, this Beta 2 will be right up your alley.
There are two sets of dates for this Beta 2, with it being split over two weekends, allowing those who can’t find the time in the first days to get in on the next.
Here are the exact dates and times you’ll be able to access it:
Weekend 1
- Start Time: February 6 – 19:00 PST/22:00 EST (February 7 – 03:00 GMT)
- End Time: February 9 at 18:59 PST/21:59 EST (February 10 – 02:59 GMT)
Weekend 2
- Start Time: February 13 19:00 PST/22:00 EST (February 14 – 03:00 GMT)
- End Time: February 16 at 18:59 PST/21:59 EST (February 17 – 02:59 GMT)
Something to note here though is that due to the recent PSN outage, all players have an extra 24 hours added to the Weekend 2 end date, bringing this to February 17.
How to access Monster Hunter Wilds Beta 2
Contrary to the first Monster Hunter Wilds Beta, this Beta 2 is open to all that want to install it, no special code or access required.
So, as long as you have an Xbox Series X/S, PS5, or a PC beefy enough to run the game, you can get it downloaded.
What’s more, if you’re planning on playing via PS5, you won’t even need a PS Plus subscription, meaning even less barriers to entry.
The install size is approximately 32 GB so you can probably avoid doing any uninstalls of other titles to fit this Beta on your system!
