A Fortnite leak hints towards new Iron man and Avatar skins coming soon to the battle royale.
A post by HYPEX showcased the new potential skins up for grabs. These include another rendition of Marvel’s Iron Man and the main characters from James Cameron’s Avatar franchise.
Over the past year, Fortnite has introduced more Disney characters to its skin roster from both iconic movies and TV shows alike.
Both Iron Man and Avatar are predicted to be among the latest of Fortnite’s collaborations, though Epic has yet to confirm their release date.
Other recent rumors include speculation that Sabrina Carpenter may make an appearance in Fortnite.
Iron Man Skins
Leaks surrounding a new Iron Man skin have been prevalent since mid-2024, but have since given way to other more pressing leaks such as a potential Splinter Cell feature.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen the armored Avenger drop in, with the game introducing several Iron Man skins throughout various updates.
Unlike its peers, this skin is fully customizable with a series of variants to swap between. Fortnite players will be able to choose from one of four suits of varying color schemes.
These suits include the iconic red/gold color scheme, a black/gold suit potentially from the Invincible Iron Man run by Kieron Gillen, a glowing blue suit inspired by Iron Man’s stealth suits, and a bulkier silver/green set of armor that shares a resemblance to Doctor Doom.
These costumes draw inspiration from Marvel’s comics as opposed to the cinematic universe.
The price of these costumes has yet to be revealed.
Avatar Skins
Rumors of an Avatar collaboration date as far back as 2023, and Fortnite has grown to feature more blockbuster characters such as Godzilla.
It’s not surprising to see that they will join the store as available cosmetic skins given the success of Avatar: Way of the Water.
Not to be confused with the Avatar: The Last Airbender skins, the leaks state that Jake and Neytiri from the Avatar films will soon join the fray.
Jake is no longer in his human form, joining Fortnite in his Na’vi body, but is still decked out with military gear.
Neytiri is the second Avatar character available, with some notable changes to her design compared to her movie counterpart.
It is currently unknown if the two will be sold separately or as a pair.
