Instagram gamblers aim to win fridge by gambling on it

An Instagram account is sparking off as its owners try to win a fridge by gambling on it. The Samsung fridge comes with a built-in Android-powered panel, with full access to the internet, which The Blanco Boys are trying to “win” by betting until they have $3,200 to buy it outright.

This type of content on Instagram isn’t new, with the entire platform having a multitude of posts showing ludicrous gambling and high rollers showing off their wins. Some accounts find themselves simply gambling a few hundred dollars to either break even or win big in a quick flurry of excessiveness

The pair in the videos play Blackjack through Rainbet. This online casino offers super simplistic versions of games for quick hits, big wins, and bigger losses.

Over the last week, they’ve won thousands, and at the moment, have hit a major setback. On day eight, one of the Blanco Boys bet $1,500 after hitting a double, and the casino proceeded to get 21.

This comes after nearing the needed amount on day seven, making a profit of $1,750 and landing around $2,750 in total cash in the account.

The Blanco Boys gambling fridge antics draw a crowd

The Blanco Boys have an entire account of gambling on various devices around the electronics store, including a ROG Ally X and different laptops. While most of the videos don’t get much attention, the fridge videos have exploded in popularity, with day four netting over 155K in likes in just a few days.

Commenter reactions have ranged from the typical jokes that can be found on Instagram. One user said:

“Imagine divorce court in like five years… Blackout drunk in the kitchen, gambling away our retirement fund using the fridge!”

Another said:

“Do yourself a favor and do not buy this fridge. If you do, take the extended warranty. Trust me.”
