Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: How to get the Outlaw Midas skin

TL:DR

  • Outlaw Midas skin is a Battle Pass Quest reward, available in early March.
  • Requires Battle Pass participation, with 32 levels to complete.
  • Not available at launch, similar to the Godzilla skin from Season 1.
  • Midas returns for Chapter 6 Season 2 in Fortnite's crime-themed Lawless season.

MIdas remains to this day, one of the most popular characters in Fortnite and even has Lego and Bean versions for the various spin-off games. Midas skins have always been desirable and the new Outlaw Midas skin that is set to appear in this latest season of the game is going to be one a lot of people are keen to unlock. So what’s the best way to go about it, when is it available and how difficult will it be?

How to unlock the Outlaw Midas Skin

It looks as though the Outlaw Midas skin is going to operate in a similar way to the Godzilla one from Season 1. That means it is not available at the beginning of this new chapter which will be disappointing news for many hoping to share it early doors for maximum effect.

The Outlaw Midas skin is a Battle Pass Quest reward further down the line, likely sometime in early March when his Quests become active for everybody.

So for starters, you will need to be active in the Battle Pass (which you can obviously get for ‘free’ if you subscribe to Epic’s Fortnite Crew program).

Looking at the Battle Pass we are assuming obtaining the Midas Outlaw Skin will be a case of getting experience and going through the levels – a total of 32 of them to complete and claim. So keep your eyes peeled for when the Quests go live and you can get cracking.

Who is Midas in Fortnite?

Midas has made recurring appearances in Fortnite since his arrival as the main baddie of Chapter 2 – which, depending on how long you have been playing, you may not remember.

He returned for Chapter 2 Season 7 and then was missing all the way to Chapter 5 Season 2, but his return for this crime-themed Lawless season should be no big surprise. Criminals are gonna, er crim.
