The Call of Duty Black Ops 6 Beta is in full flow with players around the world getting used to all the new additions this iteration brings.
If you are pumping some hours into the Beta though, you’ll probably want to know if the progress you’ve made will carry over to the full game once it releases.
Here, we’ll reveal the answer to just that so you know if all of those unlocks will be there for you on launch.
Does Black Ops 6 Beta progress carry forward?
Unfortunately, if you’re one of the many who are grinding the Black Ops 6 Beta, all of the progress you have made will not carry over to the full release of the game.
This was confirmed by Activision through the Call of Duty Next Comms and Black Ops 6 Beta blog post which stated that “all Beta leveling content will reset when the game launches”, much to the dismay of hardcore players.
This is a little annoying but does make sense considering there will likely be a bunch of tweaks to the leveling system between the Beta and launch, while also giving those a chance who didn’t get in on the tests to be on an even playing field.
Don’t fret too much though because even though the levels you have achieved won’t be there in the official game, you’ll still secure a bunch of rewards for achieving them in the Beta.
There are nine Black Ops 6 Beta rewards and you can read our full guide on those, giving you a little more insight into the skins on offer.
Granted, these are just cosmetics but at least you’ll get something for playing as many matches as possible before the end date.
