The latest Apple smartwatch has got a rare discount on Amazon. The retail giant is selling both GPS and Cellular variants of the Apple Watch Series 4 at discounted prices. The deal, however, is for a no doubt limited time, so you better hurry up!
Rare discounts on Apple Watch Series 4
Apple’s latest smartwatches rarely go on sale at discounted price. The Apple Watch Series 4, which is nearly four months old now, didn’t even get any good discounts during this past holiday season. But Amazon is currently offering a discount of $14 on the most popular variants of the watch.
The devices to get discount from Amazon include the Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS, 44mm), Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular, 40mm) and the Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS + Cellular, 44mm). Originally priced at $429, the 44mm Apple Watch Series 4 (GPS) is currently selling at $415. The cellular variant of the watch on sale at $485 (40mm) and $515 (44mm), both down $14 from $499 and $529, respectively.
Some of the feature highlights of the latest Apple Watch include electrical and optical heart sensors, digital Crown with haptic feedback, faster 64-bit dual-core processor, improved accelerometer and gyroscope for fall detection, and swimproof rating. And above them all, it is the first smartwatch capable of taking electrocardiograms (ECGs) of the user. It is an FDA approved feature that can detect abnormal behavior of your heart and alert you to a problem you may have been unaware of before.
Withings has also just announced what we can call an Apple Watch Series 4 competitor. Called the Move ECG, the new watch can also take your ECGs. It’s a lot cheaper (only $130) than the Apple counterpart and comes with a year long battery life. However, it will be available only in Q2 2019.
