Calling All Geeks: Apply Now to Demo in NYC at ReadWriteWeb 2WAY Summit

Have you got an awesome technology that captures some of the potential of the new read/write Web? We want to see the most exciting projects you’ve got demonstrated live in New York City next month at the ReadWriteWeb 2WAY Summit at Columbia University June 13 and14.

Our past events have included a segment called Speed Geeking and the fast-paced but intimate format has been such a big hit with attendees that we’re bringing it back for this event.

How does it work? Small groups, fast demos, rotate! It’s a great way to see a lot of tech up close.

What Past RWW Event Attendees Say

“The RWW Real-Time Web Summit (’10) was excellent – friggin’ great in fact. I hauled a handful members of my team across country for it and my only regret was that I didn’t bring more of them. I’m looking forward to the next one.” – John Borthwick, CEO of Betaworks and speaker at the 2WAY Summit

“I loved it so much, it was probably one of the most participatory, engaging and thought provoking experiences I’ve ever had at a conference. And as a lawyer I go to lots of them.” – Michael Nguyen, patent lawyer at leading tech law firm Fenwick & West

Want to be one of the demonstrators? We’ve got very limited spots and each one will come with a couple additional passes to what’s shaping up to be an incredible event. The speakers and attendees you’ll be demoing to and meeting are world-class.

What we’re looking for:

– Early stage, new technology.

– Technology that leverages the 2WAY nature of the Web. It’s not a top-down broadcast medium – anyone can both read from and write to it now. That changes things.

– Something you can demo quickly, in under five minutes, to many small groups of people.

The companies selected for Speed Geeking will receive two complimentary tickets to the 2WAY Summit.

Interested in this awesome opportunity? If you’d like to be considered for one of the speed geeking slots, email [email protected] with the phrase “Speed Geeking” in the subject line. In the email, tell us briefly about your company, product and why you’ll kick butt. Speed Geeking happens at 11 a.m. on day two of the event, June 14.

The ReadWriteWeb team will review the candidates and notify winners on a rolling basis over the next week. Deadline for submissions is Monday, June 6 at midnight Eastern.

Good luck!
