The Founder Showcase is taking applications now for a chance to make your pitch onstage at its event to be held February 1 in Mountain View, California. Any seed or early-stage company less than two years old and with less than $500,000 in funding is invited to apply.
It’s free to enter the pitch competition. And members of TheFunded vote to determine who they want to see onstage. The deadline for voting is January 16, so apply now.
The Founder Showcase is held quarterly (see our coverage of the August event). The event brings together investors, founders, and members of the press and includes keynote addresses as well as the pitch competition.
February’s event – the 6th Founder Showcase – will feature George Zachary, General Partner of Charles River Ventures and early investor in Twitter, as the keynote speaker . Zachary will then join a panel of investors who will provide critical feedback to the startups who are pitching. The Grand Prize Winner walks away with cash and free services, but just the exposure itself has proven valuable to participants.
Tickets for the event are on sale (beginning at $40), and ReadWriteWeb readers get 15% off using the discount code RWW.
