ZURB Releases Android Gingerbread Stencils for Designers

ZURB, a popular interaction design and strategy firm, recently released a new download for Android designers and developers to take note of: Gingerbread stencils and sketchsheets. The set features the dimensions of the HTC Thunderbolt plus common Gingerbread elements including toolbars, buttons, alerts, keyboards and more, all of which can you build your next mobile app or mobile website.

Even better, the set is completely free.

The downloadable stencils works with the software program Omnigraffe for Mac. After unzipping the file, simply open the ZURB Android Gingerbread Wireframes.gstencil and Omnigraffe will begin the import. If you don’t have Omnigraffe installed, you can use the included PDF sketchsheets instead.

There are three different variations included in the kit: a blank one for sketching out apps, a home screen variation for working on icon sketches and a website sketchsheet for designing a mobile site.

These newest release joins other similar products from ZURB including the Honeycomb sketchsheets, iPhone stencils, iPad stencils and those for Web developers.

You can grab the Android Gingerbread download from here.
