Popular messaging app Zipt Messenger, which is developed by ZipTel, allows you to place video & voice calls and also send Rich Messages containing Photos, Videos, GIFs, and Voice Messages. The app also lets you share your current location and create group chats, so your friends and family can collaborate on almost anything.
We have previously confirmed that Ziptel were working with Tizen Developers to get their app onto the Tizen platform, and today it is available for you to download. One of the great features of this app is that uses low bandwidth technology and therefore is particularly suited to countries where you might have to keep an eye on your data usage. Users are able to exchange messages or voice calls free of charge without any noticeable latency. In addition to this, Zipt also lets you call landlines at minimal cost.
Currently, it would be fair to say that the majority of Tizen smartphone users are based in India and have been waiting for a voice Internet Voip solution. Update: You can not find the app by searching for it. You need to launch the Tizen Store, then go into Categories -> Social Networking-> New Free, and it will appear in the list.
