WhatsApp is a pretty well known instant messaging service but isn’t known for the extra features it provides people with, but to have a step in the right direction, the Facebook owned company has revealed that they’ve integrated with the Any.do task manager. Hopefully the app may become more like WeChat as it has loads more extra features rather than just being for messaging.
The integration lets you create reminders and tasks with the Any.do bot on the messaging platform. The reminder can also be received in WhatsApp when the time comes. As well as this, you’re able to forward messages to the bot so you can create tasks. Like if someone asks you to grab some stuff, forward the message to the bot.
You are also able to share your lists and assign tasks and it’ll synchronise with any of your Any.do tasks outside of the WhatsApp app. As well as this, Any.do has integration of over a thousand apps!
The Single Downside
This feature is available for all WhatsApp-enabled devices but it requires a subscription to Any.do. This subscription is $2.99 per month, which isn’t too too much to pay. If you don’t think it is worth your wallet, you can try the 7-day free trial to make up your mind. If you want to activate the service via the Any.do app. You tap Settings -> Integrations -> WhatsApp.
Maybe after this, we can see WhatsApp become more versatile as more bots and / or services will be integrated.
