Flex is coming to Valorant and in case you don’t know what that means, it means a new item, a new way to show off, and (probably) a new way to spend money.
Flex allows you to equip a handheld object at a suitable time, like when you want to, er flex and show off a little and you can then wave it around and make yourself that little bit different from anybody else. You can equip a Flex at any time, including in the heat of a battle for the ultimate middle finger to your enemies.
You can even run with Flex equipped and it will not penalize your movement rate which will stay at your ability level, rather than the slower running speed when you move with a knife equipped.
Flex was announced at the same time as the new agent, Tejo, who we told you all about earlier.
How to get Flex in Valorant
Initially, all players with the battle pass are going to get a free Flex item to show you how it works. After that, new Flex will appear in Battle Passes and the item store.

- A New Cosmetic Content Type – Flex brings a fun and interactive cosmetic feature, allowing players to equip handheld objects and showcase their individuality within the game.
- Equip Anytime, Anywhere – Players can equip a Flex at any point during gameplay, whether it’s before a round begins, in the heat of action, or during post-round celebrations.
- Visibility and Gameplay Integrity – While Flexes are visible to other players, animations will not be shown from a third-person perspective, ensuring no interference with core gameplay mechanics.
- No Impact on Hitbox – Equipping a Flex will not affect a player’s hitbox, ensuring that it remains purely cosmetic and doesn’t influence competitive balance.
- No Gameplay Advantage – Using a Flex has no effect on gameplay performance; players will maintain their standard movement speed, running at ability speed—not at knife speed.
- Equip Flex via Collections – Players can access their Flex items through the Collections menu and equip them via the Spray Wheel, with a limit of up to four Flexes at once.
- Free Flex for Launch – To celebrate the arrival of Flex, players will receive a complimentary Flex in their collection. A second Flex will be available through the paid track of the Season 2025 // Act I Battlepass.
- More Flexes to Come – Expect additional Flexes to appear through the Battlepass throughout this season, with even more customization options on the horizon.
